I am taking a break. For MY EYES!!! For almost an hour I could not take my eyes off the colourful array of chiffons and cottons under the influence of Miss Shopaholic, such that for a moment I nearly forgot about my Singapore account balance that screams "critical".
In any case, there are a few lines to be said.
Time zooms past, and it's already five months. My stay in this ants-infested apartment is coming to an end. As much as I've complained, time and time again about the vicious carnivorous ants and the terrorist of a cockroach appearing every now and then in the kitchen, I've regarded this place as home as well. Of course not the home I call home in Ipoh, yet 'tis the place I've resided for close to half a year.
Of course, I'd very much wanna end my working life and resume to being unemployed, so that I can wake up at eleven and slack on my couch in a hot afternoon. Yet by the time I'm able to slack on my couch in a hot afternoon, I will have already bade goodbye to PJ, detached myself from the days without nights schedule.
Will it then feel unfamiliar, to be unemployed and slacking my afternoons away?
Sigh. Time and tide really waits for no man. No. It does not wait for no man either, for I am no man.
