cny reunion dinner yesterday! poof, its so different from nanyang's! for two years i've been getting eyesores (well, sorry la) from seeing ppl dressing up senselessly and still flatter themselves, so i expected sth of that sort as we walked over to vs hall. but surprisingly, those who flatter themselves are really the minority. most of us just went in casual but decent clothings, and be happy to be ard wif frens. that is like, so DIFFERENT from nanyang. hmm, great culture man.
had band b4 the dinner. ok i shall not talk band for one week first. asked seb to go back wif me but i think he was quite bored... sorry sebastian! so off we went (me, jinjiang, seb, waikin) and hweisan and huiying joined us near the skul gate.
the food was ok, seriously. prob bcox i was wif all the malaysians and was chatting away throughout the dinner. so fun. movie guessing. ha! i told u ppl the first movie was pirates. dun want to listen to me. esp seb. see la. say itz king kong sommore. our table din win, but i'm sure we all had ourselves alot of fun, didnt we ppl? ha. the results of door decor was out. he li was obviously disappointed cox our door din win. but deep inside, i saw like, duh, i expected la. it wasnt really nice to start off with. but hey, i din do anything to deco our door so i shld shut up. and i did. but jin ee and xinji's room got the fourth! know why i'm happy? cox i did the caligraphy for their door decors! erps, ya, i did for them and din do anything for my door. but actually my caligraphy not say very nice la ha.
as for the best costume competition, haha oh man, we sent ahnaf up cox he was in this quite traditional chinese suit that made him look really... different. :) and then, our entire table ran up with mandarins in our hands and gave ahnaf all! haha wad a sight. it must have been funny for others.
somehow, simplicity is more rewarding. just be urself, dunnid to exaggerate, and everything just flows fine.

i din go back to nanyang today for their cny celeb. and i'm still thinking whether i should go vj tmr for their celeb. we'll be reporting in houses b4 the celeb, i feel like being a part of it but... i still wanna go out and play. hope cny celeb will be fun for those who r going for it.
itz the first time since i come to sg that i have such a long loong break for cny.
so nice.
in the meantime, i hope i'll have enuff time to think that. andrew, i hope i can reach an ans aft cny.
