diz weekend was quite fruitful for me.

went out wif wq yesterday afternoon in view of studying together for prelims, or so we expected. haha of cox things wont turn out dat perfect, esp to me. we ate at yoshi in millenia walk, and headed for esplanade lib aft dat. liren called me when i was still in yoshi. wow. so unexpected to get a call fr somebody so great a student from poilam. haha. he asked abt the alumni gathering thing. wow he was like a *legend* or sth la.. aih... cant believe he had my contact...
and then we went to esplanade lib. the plc was soo soo cold!! itz like freezing!! zzzz.... as i was busy doing maths, diz woman came and told us off. she said wad, the lib adopted diz self studying policy, dat we cant study in the lib. i was like, wad de hell? cant study in the lib, then wadz a lib for rite? wells, nvm, then we went to the music section...it was fabulous!! so many many scores! scores dat i like! dat i want to play! haha.. but dun have lib card.. and nvr did we realize it was abt 1745.. the time i was supposed to meet them in city hall.

i suggested the gathering to be in marina sq.. but haha, none of us had been there b4! so rite, everyone had a *wonderful* time finding our way there! wq, xt, wh and i reached sakae first, and we took a plc for six. at first i thot only six.. then liren called and said dat he couldnt make it in time.. he'll meet us outside our boarding skul!! goodness! haha.. then cheechin and li yek came.. and mh came as well.. with the hamtaro!! haha thank you thankyou!! it was sooo cute!! i guess those who turned up for the gathering would rmb the day.. the day where everyone was running here and there in an unfamiliar plc.
we talked more than we ate.. so the bill turned out to be fifty plus.

and then the filming!! haha!! so cool!! our skul is having her 50th bday.. so cheechin suggested taking pic and send it baq to pl.. we chose the esplanade "i was here"! haha.. wq was our camera man.. we took photos ar first.. then took a video of ourselves and wad we wanted to say to poilam.. happy bday poilam!
i was so happy. dat was the first time we had gathering for pl alumni. i'll rmb dat.

went out today as well. to esplanade again. diz time was to watch concert. the theme was movie theme songs. they played phantom, memory, incredibles, star wars, disney theme songs, doraemon etc...
wah they were superb ok.. so glad dat i went... they blended very well as a band.. the soloists were simply.. too good!! my heart really melted when they played beauty and the beast and someday my prince will come.. there was this very good oboist, trumpeter, sax player and eupho player... the tbone was good too.. aiya the whole band of only 50 plus was simply too good for our band to learn from... oh man.. i really melted in the esplanade. memorable.

then moved to the colours of the bay. bought cotton candy.. haha and ate with wq. then we walked all the way down, as the sky darkened. many ppl were there, all waiting for the sun to set, and the fireworks to begin. of cox, i saw many couples.. i think most of them were couples.. and many scenes unsuitable for kids.. hehe... u noe.. hugging and kissing and kissing and hugging.. oh well...
then the sky was lit!! finally the long awaited fireworks! so pretty! i understood quite a few things at that instant.
sometimes we dun nid to hold tight to everything.. juz let go a bit, and u see the beauty within. juz like the fireworks. we watched fr a distance, and everything looked perfect! so pretty! but if we were to stand right beside the boats, they wont turn out dat nice.
and so i understood.
